Angelman Syndrome Collaborative Conference

Research for tommorow Care for today

September 19-20 Doltone House, Sydney

The Angelman Collaborative Conference returns in 2025 following its successful debut in Brisbane in 2023. This special event is the result of a powerful partnership between the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (FAST) Australia and the Angelman Syndrome Association Australia (ASAA)—coming together once again to deliver an experience designed for every member of the Angelman community.

Hosted at the iconic Sydney Harbour, this two-day conference brings together families, researchers, clinicians, and supporters to explore everything there is to know about Angelman syndrome—from daily care strategies and therapy supports to the latest in clinical trials and research breakthroughs.

Whether you're newly navigating the diagnosis or have years of experience behind you, the Angelman Collaborative offers a space to learn, connect, and grow—topped off with a memorable Gala Dinner celebrating the strength and unity of our community.

An unforgettable evening of hope, celebration and progress

This inspiring evening will celebrate the year’s achievements, honour the resilience and passion of the Angelman syndrome community, and fuel our collective drive to find a cure.

The Unstoppable Gala Dinner, held on Saturday evening, September 20th, 2025, at Doltone House Darling Island, is a key event in the Angelman syndrome community. The event is a chance to reflect on the significant progress made by FAST (Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics) and its dedicated supporters and reignite the energy and hope needed to continue advancing research.

Supporting life-changing research to find a cure

FAST is a nonprofit organisation focused on advancing research and therapeutic development for Angelman syndrome. This rare genetic disorder leads to profound developmental delays, severe cognitive impairments, debilitating epilepsy, and motor issues, and tragically, there is currently no cure. Funds raised through the Gala will go directly to support research, including specialised Angelman syndrome nurses, and to accelerate the development of potential treatments and therapies that could transform the lives of those living with Angelman syndrome.

FAST’s dedication to funding innovative science has already made significant strides, and your sponsorship will help ensure that progress continues at a crucial time.
